The original German produced BFK458 Brake product line is a spring applied failsafe “power off” brake
that engages when power is removed.
Robust and reliable it is an ideal replacement for most IEC brake or brakemotor applications.

A “complete” brake is made up of:
· a STATOR, voltage specific
· a ROTOR
· a HUB, bore specific
A particular part is only a portion of the complete brake that is built on your shaft.

With a breakdown part replacement; 99% of the time you can reuse your HUB, hand release and options.
If a STATOR is being replaced we strongly recommend you replace the ROTOR also.
We stock the “E” (adjustable torque) version, which can replace the “N” version
except when there is a motor mounted encoder.
